There are 216 rooms, exquisitely appointed rooms each with a king size bed, a/c, ceiling fan, satellite color TV, telephone, CD player and radio, shower, bath, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, in-room safe and a balcony or patio overlooking the Caribbean Sea or exotic gardens. There are 18 spacious suites which also include a Jacuzzi and fully stocked bar.

Medical Facilities:
Just in case of minor injury's, our staff includes a qualified nurse who can attend to minor illness, cuts, etc. A limited supply of medical items is also available. There is no charge for this service. Should guests require the service of a doctor, this must be paid at the time of the visit.

Couples Negril is situated on 18 acres of tropical grounds facing the crescent shaped Bloody Bay on 1,000 feet of white sand beach, The resort is five miles from downtown Negril - a small fishing village - and fifty miles from Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (an one hour and a half drive).
Accommodations:

Beach:
White sand beach, generally calm and crystal clear seas. Length: 1,000 feet, width 100 feet.
Clothing Optional Sunbathing:
On the East side of the property 'au naturel' sunbathing is permitted.
Jacuzzis:
Two adjacent to the pool.
Pools:
Main pool flows into a smaller pool with a swim-up bar. Length: 160 feet, width: 24 feet, depth: 4 feet. Dive Pool length: 30 feet, width: 15 feet, depth: 8 feet.
Natural Ponds:
A collection of small ponds that flow into one another on the East side of the property, the water circulating in these ponds is drawn from a well on property. On the West side of the property there is a plunge pool which is the actual exposed water table, water is pumped out of this pond and sent to a lily pond on the water's edge where the wedding gazebo is located.
Accepted Currency:
The Jamaican dollar is the legal tender in Jamaica. We are happy to exchange currency for our guests on property. However, most merchants will accept U.S. dollars or traveler's checks as well as major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Entry Documents:
U.S. and Caribbean citizens will need a current passport or a certified copy of a birth certificate. All other International guests will need to verify that they have the necessary visa and/or documentation in order to enter and exit Jamaica.
No Tipping Policy:
Couples Resorts places a strong emphasis on our No-Tipping Policy. Once you arrive on our property, a friendly "thank you" is the best tip you can give, and the only one allowed. (Outside our resorts tipping is customary for all airport baggage personnel, taxi drivers, etc.)
Electric Current:
The electric current at Couples Resorts is 110 volts. Adapters are not available.
Laundry and Dry Cleaning:
Couples Resorts offers laundry and dry cleaning services for a modest fee.
Repeat Guests:
We are thrilled to see the familiar faces of guests who return to us. It seems to be happening more and more, so we now offer our Repeat Guests a complimentary one way air transfer to or from Montego Bay Airport. (Must be pre-arranged with property or at time of reservation.)
