Very private, Casa del Secreto is the only luxury vacation home at Playa del Secreto that has only 1 other villa (the owner's villa) on the property and has a pure powder white sand beach front.
Casa del Secreto consists of two independent villas on a large 2 acre oceanfront lot. The lower level villa is kept as a private residence. The upper villa is a luxury 3 bedroom / 3 bath complete vacation home with private entrance, terrace and full kitchen.
It is possible to combine both the upper and lower villas as a very large 5BR/5B villa at an additional rate. An interior stairwell joins the 2 villas. This stairwell is closed off by large wooded doors that can be opened, creating a single large villa.
Nearby Attractions:
From May to October, giant 300 lb. sea turtles arrive at Playa del Secreto each year to lay their eggs. Each night, as many as 10 new nests can be found on the Playa del Secreto beach.
You may sit in the sand next to these wonderful creatures and watch as they lay their eggs and then walk with them as they return to the sea. It is an experience of a lifetime!
Snorkeling
Snorkeling trips to nearby reefs are available. The 2 hour trip is on a fully equipped boat with a bathroom and includes beer, soft drinks and snack. Make a reservation through the house manager at Casa del Secreto.
Fishing Charters
Sub Aqua Explorers offers deep sea fishing charters from Puerto Morelos. Refreshments, bait and tackle included.
Tours
The Mayan Riviera covers the coast south of Cancun. There are hundreds of attractions to see and activities to try. From climbing the large Mayan pyramid at Coba to snorkeling at the Xcaret ecopark, you will find unique entertainment to suit all tastes. Cave Tour
Aktun Chen caves has a tour that takes you back 5 million years, in just an hour and fifteen minutes. Learn about how the Mayans used the caves, as well as the formation process of the stalactites, stalagmites and the cave itself. After touring pathways along beautiful cave formations, you see a breathtaking cenote of crystal clear water with a depth of 12 meters, and a no less magnificent vault with thousands of stalactites.

Scuba Diving
Sub Aqua Explorers offers scuba diving, snorkeling, and night reef snorkeling from Puerto Morelos.
Established in 1983, Scuba Mex is the oldest dive shop south of Cancun, Mexico. You can trust their experience diving the area to show you the best dive possible.

Casa del Secreto Vacation Villa is the upper villa of only 2 villas on a large 2 acre beach front lot. This Mexican Caribbean style villa is filled with hand-carved furniture and one of a kind beautiful pieces. Very private, Casa del Secreto is the only luxury vacation home at Playa del Secreto that has only 1 other villa (the owner's villa) on the property and has a pure powder white sand beach front.
The lower villa is kept as the private residence of the owners. When the owners are not in residence, it is possible to combine both Casa del Secreto and the lower villa as a very large 5BR/5B villa at an additional rate. An interior stairwell joins the 2 villas. This stair well is closed off by large wooded doors that can be opened, creating a single large villa.
Casa del Secreto is maintained in excellent condition and equipped with all your desired luxuries. 3BR/3B - master bedroom has sunken tub and a private entrance to terrace. Each room as a queen bed and a single loft bed intended for older children or teenagers. The villa can sleep 9, but preferably 6. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 6 burner gourmet stainless steel stove/oven and stainless refrigerator.

You will need a passport and visas to reside in or to conduct or start a business in the Caribbean. Although some Caribbean countries welcome retirees or others of independent means as long-term residents, requests for work permits are rarely granted. Before you travel, apply to the country's embassy or consulate in the United States to obtain a visa if you wish to reside, go into business, or work in the country.
U.S. citizens who wish to invest in the Caribbean, such as in real estate or a business, should first thoroughly investigate the company making the offer and, in addition, learn about the investment climate in the country. A good resource is the Trade Information Center of the U.S. Department of Commerce, telephone 1-800-USA-TRADE. The Center can tell you how to access the National Trade Data Bank. Among the things you can learn are how to find out if the company is registered with local authorities and how to get in touch with local trade associations. Before signing a contract for a timeshare or other real estate, you may wish to consult with a lawyer. You will need to check whether the contract contains the same safeguards as do similar contracts in the U.S., such as the retention of timeshare rights if the property is sold. You should also determine whether the builder or seller has a clear title.
