Providing well appointed, modern, self catering accommodations to couples or families, Cancun Plaza offers a comfortable and relaxing environment. Here, you can just relax and enjoy an average of 300 days of sunshine each year. Or, you can plan for any number of activities.
Cancun Plaza is just a short bus ride (4 minutes) away from the bustling activity of the Flea Markets, Shopping Areas, Restaurants, and Bars and it is just 12 minutes from the Airport. Public transportation is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with service every 3 to 4 minutes.
We DO NOT participate in any "Spring or Summer Break" type activities.
Our complex offers panoramic views of the Caribbean, a sparkling white sandy beach, a beautiful oceanfront swimming pool, and all our comfortable air-conditioned accommodations overlook the Caribbean.
Stretched along the sparkling white sands of the turquoise Caribbean, Cancun Plaza offers one of the most beautiful beaches on the peninsula. Beach loungers and towels are provided for our guests, while "palapa" umbrellas provide shade from the hot tropical sun.
With the Caribbean as your backdrop, the large refreshing swimming pool at Cancun Plaza offers it's guests the illusion that they are swimming in the sea. Sit back and relax on a poolside lounge chair while indulging in a tropical drink from the pool area bar. Listen to the sound of the palm trees swaying and the gentle surf washing onto the beach a few feet away. "What could be better??

If Scuba Diving or Snorkeling is your passion, Cancun offers some of the best in both categories. Part of the second longest Coral reef in the world is located in Cancun. Stretching for 530 miles from Mexico to Costa Rica, this reef is home to hundred of species of marine life. There are numerous tours and excursions available that can show you the beauty that lives within our crystal blue waters.
For those that prefer sightseeing, just a short walk from Cancun Plaza are the Mayan ruins of "Ruinas el Rey." which date back to A.D. 1200. You can visit more Mayan ruins in the city of Tulum or take a sightseeing trip to Isla Mujeres.
Golfers can visit one of Cancun's four (4) golf courses. Two are located just a five minute bus ride from Cancun Plaza. The other two are located on each tip of the peninsula. Beautiful views and scenic sites can be found on each of them.
If water sports are an interest to you, Aquaworld would be the place to visit. Just a short Bus ride from Cancun Plaza, they offer parasailing, boating, and jet ski rentals. Snorkeling and fishing tours are also available as well as scuba instruction courses. All of the gear needed is provided for you.
If you wish to take part in a variety of activities on just one tour, you can visit XCaret, a large eco-archeological park located about 30 minutes from Cancun Plaza. Within the park you can swim with dolphins, relax by a natural lagoon, drift through an underground river, take a stroll along the beach, visit Mayan ruins, and see a variety of exhibits.
On another tour, you could visit the ancient Mayan city of Tulum and snorkel through the underwater city of Xel-Ha.
We provide our guests with information on all of these activities and can assist in booking them as well. We also provide other local information, if required, to assist in making your vacation a memorable experience.

Entry and Exit Requirements
Entering: Every island in the Caribbean has its own entry requirements. Most countries allow you to visit for up to two or three months if you show proof of U.S. citizenship and a return or onward ticket. Some countries, however, require that you have a valid passport. If you are arriving from an area infected with yellow fever, many Caribbean countries require you to have a certificate of vaccination against yellow fever. Some countries have an airport departure tax of up to $25. For authoritative information on a country's entry and exit requirements and on its customs and currency regulations, contact its embassy, consulate, or tourist office in the United States.
Returning - Caution! Make certain that you can return to the United States with the proof of citizenship that you take with you. Although some Caribbean countries may allow you to enter with only a birth certificate, U.S. Immigration requires that you document both your U.S. citizenship and identity when you reenter the United States.
The best document to prove your U.S. citizenship is a valid U.S. passport. Other documents of U.S. citizenship include an expired U.S. passport, a certified copy of your birth certificate, a Certificate of Naturalization , a Certificate of Citizenship , or a Report of Birth Abroad of a U.S. Citizen.
To prove your identity, either a valid driver's license or a government identification card that includes a photo or a physical description is acceptable.
If you lose or have your U.S. passport stolen while overseas, report it immediately to the local police and the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. A lost or stolen birth certificate or driver's license cannot be replaced outside the United States. There are several countries, most notably Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, and Jamaica, where airlines have consistently refused to board American citizens with insufficient proof of U.S. citizenship. The resulting delays can be inconvenient as well as expensive.
