As the crystalline blue waters of the Caribbean caresses the shores of Ambergris Caye, SunBreeze Hotel is the perfect vacation hideaway to enjoy the many charms of San Pedro Town with all the comforts of home.
The SunBreeze Hotel is a ocean front "U" shaped hotel which overlooks the majestic Caribbean Sea, where one can experience the wonders of the Worlds Second Largest Barrier Reef (186 miles), one-half mile east of the shoreline and runs the entire 25-mile length of the island. Enjoy the serenity and the beauty of the ocean, or experience the sunrise and the sunset from the wooden deck which surrounds our Fresh Water Pool. A seawall protects the property.
Ambergris Caye, the largest island in Belize, is approximately 35 miles from the Belize mainland, and the main destination for travelers to this friendly and unspoilt Caribbean nation. Ambergris Caye is nature's paradise and boasts many attractions for the entire family, especially those interested in diving, which make the island the premier dives and water sports capital of Belize and Central America.
Traveling to Ambergris Caye from the Belize mainland is made easy by a short boat ride or plane ride. Tropic Air and Maya Island Air have regular flights about every 30 minutes during the daylight hours and flight time is approximately 20 minutes. The very minute you arrive in Ambergris Caye is just about the same minute you arrive at the Sun Breeze Hotel, located just across the street from the airstrip.

Our on-site dive shop offers a full service dive operation. Scuba diving and PADI certification courses are also available. Belizean waters are home to 3 living atolls; Turneffe, Lighthouse (home of the Blue Hole) and Glovers Reef. These sites are excellent for the novice diver, yet interesting to the more experienced diver. Shark Ray Alley, Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Mexico Rocks, and many other diving areas are all only a short boat ride away from the SunBreeze pier.
Amenities:
SunBreeze Hotel boasts 39 spacious air-conditioned rooms, with partial ocean and tropical garden views. Rooms are divided into 2 categories : Standard and Deluxe. All rooms features two double beds, ceiling fan, direct dial telephone, cable TV, and private bathroom with hot and cold showers. Our 5 Deluxe Rooms host predominantly ocean view and Jacuzzi Bath, which makes them perfect for honeymooners.
24-hour front desk assistance is available and we offer access to safety deposit boxes, daily maid service, baby-sitting, room service, gift shop, dive shop, massage parlor, bicycle rental, beach volleyball and our fresh water swimming pool surrounded by a large wooden deck.
Welcome in each morning from our Restaurant patio overlooking the pristine waters of the Caribbean Sea with its fresh sea breeze and spectacular view. The Restaurant opens daily from 6:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and serves 3 meals a day, offering the finest in cuisines. Our Restaurant specializes in a wide range of poultry and seafood and meat entrees. The Restaurant also features weekly entertainment.
Adjoining the Restaurant is the Bar which opens daily from 12 noon until 10:00 p.m. offering a wide variety of Tropical and International Drinks. The Bar is the perfect gathering place and a source of entertainment for guests of the Hotel. Take in the evening moonlight whilst sipping an exotic cocktail or simply enjoy the entertainment.
The Gift Shop is situated in the lower flat of the building just before the Hotel lobby entrance. The Gift Shop opens Monday to Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and is closed on Sundays. Fully stocked with gifts and accessories, it also offers the finest in local wood carvings, local handicrafts and jewelry.

The SunBreeze Hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to any personal article or luggage, the late arrival of any transportation, or any delay or changes in schedule flight to and from San Pedro Town. Entry and Exit Requirements
Entering: Every island in the Caribbean has its own entry requirements. Most countries allow you to visit for up to two or three months if you show proof of U.S. citizenship and a return or onward ticket. Some countries, however, require that you have a valid passport. If you are arriving from an area infected with yellow fever, many Caribbean countries require you to have a certificate of vaccination against yellow fever. Some countries have an airport departure tax of up to $25. For authoritative information on a country's entry and exit requirements and on its customs and currency regulations, contact its embassy, consulate, or tourist office in the United States.
Returning - Caution! Make certain that you can return to the United States with the proof of citizenship that you take with you. Although some Caribbean countries may allow you to enter with only a birth certificate, U.S. Immigration requires that you document both your U.S. citizenship and identity when you reenter the United States.
The best document to prove your U.S. citizenship is a valid U.S. passport. Other documents of U.S. citizenship include an expired U.S. passport, a certified copy of your birth certificate, a Certificate of Naturalization , a Certificate of Citizenship , or a Report of Birth Abroad of a U.S. Citizen.
To prove your identity, either a valid driver's license or a government identification card that includes a photo or a physical description is acceptable.
If you lose or have your U.S. passport stolen while overseas, report it immediately to the local police and the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. A lost or stolen birth certificate or driver's license cannot be replaced outside the United States. There are several countries, most notably Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, and Jamaica, where airlines have consistently refused to board American citizens with insufficient proof of U.S. citizenship. The resulting delays can be inconvenient as well as expensive.
