Playa Blanca Island Villa
Playa Blanca: Luxurious beachfront island villa with BOAT, captain & housekeeper. Snorkel and fish whenever you want. A tropical haven of privacy with breathtaking views 2bedroom-2bath.
|
More Info: Playa Blanca Island Villa is located along the scenic northcoast of Ambergris Caye. The world's second largest barrier reef is located directly in front of Playa Blanca...less than 2 minutes away. You'll enjoy First Class accomodations. Playa Blanca is without a doubt the "Best Address" in all Belize.
We've blended the relaxed attitude of the island with the most breathtaking waterfront location imaginable. Playa Blanca is closer to the water than any other villa or hotel on Ambergris Caye, thus allowing for a comfortable year round breeze. The average temperature is 85°, the water temperature around 82 ~ ideal for snorkeling and sunbathing. Playa Blanca is extremely private, yet walking distance to several of the finest restaurants on the island.
We will assist you with reservations for the 17 minute flight from Belize City to the San Pedro Airstrip where Alberto, your island host, will greet you. He'll be ready to take you shopping for groceries and your favorite beverages ... then its off to the dock for your next adventure.
Nearby Attractions: SNORKELING - No waiting on large groups for a morning or afternoon snorkel. When you're on vacation you shouldn't have to wait for fun ... and at Playa Blanca you don't. Just let Alberto know you'd like to go and you're on your way. Explore the living reef or snorkel Mexico Rocks, a premiere snorkel adventure in Belize... just three minutes to the north. Visit Hol Chan, the popular Marine Reserve or swim with the sharks and rays at Shark Ray Alley.
At Playa Blanca we have a wide selection of snorkel gear for your use including masks and fins for children. In the event that we are missing your size, there are dive shops close by with rentals available. There's no need to bring anything but your swimsuits!
FISHING - If you enjoy fishing, you've come to the right place. Fishing is Alberto's favorite pastime. He knows all the local "hot spots" to fish inside the reef, and can teach you to dive for conch or seek out lobster. If you would like to try bone fishing, fly fishing or fishing outside the reef, he'll line you up with the best guides on the island.
SCUBA DIVING - Belize offers fantastic scuba adventures even for the beginner. Just let Alberto know what day or night you would like to scuba and he'll make the arrangements with safe, dependable divemasters.
BOATING - If you would like to go island hopping, golfing, or watch the dolphins, just ask and you're there.
Alberto is a licensed tour guide & can take you most everywhere inside the reef. If there's something he can't do, he knows the folks that can.
There is no charge for the use of the Playa Blanca boat and it's captain. Simply replace the gas and kindly tip Alberto for his services at the end of your stay. FAMILY FUN - Playa Blanca is a great place for family vacations. Kids seem to find their own fun in the shallow water off the sandy beach or swimming and fishing by the dock.
You can relax in the "Hammock Palapa" while you watch them play in the sand or lounge on the chaise furniture at the end of the dock while they swim.
FUN TOYS - For more vacation fun try kayaking with the two single kayaks or the double Hobie kayak. Playa Blanca also has a small boat to explore the back lagoon or use for conch and lobster diving.
We have snorkel gear, fishing gear and even bicycles.
There's a terrific pair of binoculars to scope out the ocean activity, do some bird watching or to enjoy the tropical beachside scenery.
Amenities: Each bedroom has a private bathroom with an endless supply of hot water. The mattresses at Playa Blanca were imported from the United States...very plush pillow top mattresses that are oh - so comfy! We have a large assortment of pillows throughout the villa from goose down to fiberfill to insure a good night's rest for everyone. If you are an early riser you'll enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the Caribbean from the large picture windows in the bedrooms. In the evening the night sky is star-filled beyond belief.
Daily maid service is provided... after all it's your vacation.
The housekeeper will come in each morning to clean your breakfast dishes and tidy up. She'll change your linens every few days or as frequently as needed. She'll provide you with fresh towels daily and return each evening to clean the kitchen.
When you see her in the morning don't forget to put in your tortilla order for lunch....just let her know how many you would like.
The media room should satisfy your entertainment desires including Satellite TV with all the movie channels, DVD player, and state of the art CD player.
For those who need to stay in touch with the office you can check your email as often as you like.
The Playa Blanca kitchen has a dishwasher, garbage disposal, gas range, microwave and refrigerator with a built-in filtered icemaker that uses rain water. All the water at Playa Blanca has gone through several filtration systems and is safe to drink.

About Kingston Jamaica - Jamaica Few Caribbean islands can offer up the diversity of our island country - where there's so much more than "rum, sun & raggae" - especially in the often overlooked capital city of Kingston, the heartbeat of Jamaica and the second largest English-speaking city south of Miami, Florida. Kingston overlooks what is the seventh largest natural harbour in the world. Like a fan, the city spreads north from the harbour as far as the foothills of the famous Blue Mountains - impressive peaks that form a glorious backdrop to the whole.
