Banana Beach is a beautiful new resort on the shores of the Caribbean in Belize, nestled on the best stretch of Beach on Ambergris Caye. Just far enough from town for real tranquility. We offer tours all over Belize- Diving, Snorkeling, Fishing, Mayan Ruin and Jungle River Cave Tubing. Or just come on down and relax on the beach. The tropical breeze is just perfect for whatever ails ya!
Banana Beach Resort consists of one, two, three and four bedroom suites with full kitchen and living room area. The two, three and four bedroom suites have Jacuzzi bathtubs. The suites are all furnished with locally made Rattan furniture, decorated with ceramic art and hand woven tapestries from the Yucatan.
2- four bedroom, four bathroom Deluxe Ocean Front Suites- 10 persons maximum.
3- three bedroom, three bathroom Deluxe Ocean Front Suites- 8 persons maximum.
3- two bedroom, two bathroom Deluxe Ocean Front Suites- 6 persons maximum.
8- one bedroom, one bathroom Deluxe Ocean Front Suites- 4 persons maximum.
8- one bedroom, one bathroom Standard Ocean Front Suites- 4 persons maximum.
21- one bedroom, one bathroom Courtyard Suites- 4 persons maximum.
The suites all have full kitchen and living room area. all furnished with locally made Rattan furniture, decorated with ceramic art and hand woven tapestries from the Yucatan. The two, three and four bedroom suites have Jacuzzi bathtubs.
All Kitchens are supplied with cooking utensils, plates, glasses, appliances including a microwave oven, coffee maker, stove top, and refrigerator. Included in the living room furnishings is a Queen size sleeper sofa or Futon. Additional Twin size beds can be added to any suite if needed. All suites are equipped with air conditioning, two or more ceiling fans, cable TV, in room telephone, and in room safe.
The Ocean Front suites all have private Ocean Front balconies and either a King size bed or two Twin size beds in the bedrooms. The Courtyard suites all have Queen size beds in the bedrooms. All rates are per suite. Hotel tax is included.
In addition to the suites Banana Beach has upper 2nd/3rd floor Private Ocean View Balcony rooms and ground/1st floor Ocean View Veranda rooms.
The rooms have either a King size bed or two Twin size beds. with air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV, coffee maker, refrigerator, safe and direct dial telephone. One additional Twin size bed can be added to any room if needed. All suites and rooms have direct access to garden courtyards & swimming pool areas. The courtyards are lavishly decorated with clay pottery from the Yucatan. Local tropical plants have found a new home in this pottery. Our courtyards are fast becoming a tropical terrarium.

We offer a 30 day minimum long term rental in our Banana Beach apartments. Swimming pool access, beach access, and night security are all included and provided. The apartments are available with utilities included or if preferred, utilities can be metered and paid separately.
Nearby Attractions:
Banana Beach is located on the beach area of Ambergris Caye known as Mar De Tumbo. This is one of the best natural beach areas of Ambergris Caye. There is a natural break in the reef about a quarter mile off shore. This break allows ocean waves to flow in more freely. Therefore deeper water and a sandier sea bed. Mar De Tumbo beach is south of San Pedro Town's edge about 3/4 of a mile.
Kayak & Wind Surfing rental is available from the dive shop located 200' from the hotel. There is a mini store known here as a tienda right across the street from the hotel. The Caribbean to the front and all of the amenities on either side or back! We have golf cart and bicycle rental available from the hotel. All snorkeling, diving, fishing, trips to the Mayan Ruins and Jungle rivers can be arranged from the hotel. We use only the best dive, snorkel, fishing, and Mayan Ruin tour operators. No not the cheapest. Yes the best! Service Guaranteed. No prepayments taken on any activities. You pay AFTER service has been provided, not before!
