The Sea Front Inn is a family owned and operated eco-friendly hotel located in Punta Gorda, Belize. We also offer tours to the cayes, rainforrest, and Mayan villages and ruins.

Rather than number our guest rooms and apartments, we have named each after an animal, bird, fish,or plant indigenous to this part of Belize.
The Sea Front Inn is built on the edge of the Caribbean Sea at the northern end of a quaint town called Punta Gorda.
Family built and operated, we offer eleven rooms and six apartment units for the visitor to this tropical paradise we call home.
Punta Gorda is a scenic one hour flight from Goldson International Airport.
Guest rooms and apartments are fashioned with jungle hard woods and many special touches that coordinate with the nature theme. Some of our repeat guests enjoy specific themed rooms. They reserve the same room prior to their next visit.
You may find yourself staying in the Jaguar, Parrot, Manatee, Dolphin, or Howler Monkey room. Artwork on each door signifies the theme. Each door was hand painted by a local artist.
Some rooms have private verandahs for enjoying the magnificent scenery.
At the end of each guest room floor in the first building there is an expansive verandah containing chairs and hammocks for your enjoyment.
On the third floor we have created a place dedicated to dining and relaxation. Sit at one of the many hand made mahogany tables. Gaze out onto the blue waters and neighboring mountains of Guatemala and Honduras.
Be entertained by the hidden sculptures and carvings in each of the rosewood pillars that transport you back to the time of the ancient Maya.

Serve Yourself Honor Bar
The Sea Front Inn provides an honor bar stocked with water, beer, and soft drinks in the third floor dining area. You can access the honor bar throughout the day and into the early evening hours.

Local Craftsman Showcase
The Sea Front Inn periodically invites local Mayan craftsmen onto the premises to showcase their art. Included in the showcase: carved masks, bowls, and slate, hand woven coxtals and baskets, hand beaded necklaces, and clay pottery. Samples of these items are on display in the third floor restaurant area.

Bringing Your Own Boat or Plane
If you plan to arrive in the Caribbean in your own boat or plane, contact the embassy, consulate, or tourist office of each country you plan to visit to learn what is required for entry and exit. Besides title of ownership, most ports of entry will require proof of insurance coverage for the country you are entering. Some countries require a temporary import permit for your boat or plane.
Authorities in the Caribbean are familiar with U.S. regulations for documentation of air and sea craft. They will detain improperly documented craft that enter their territory. In some countries, authorities will confiscate firearms found on a boat or plane unless the owner or master can show proof that U.S. licensing and export procedures have been followed. In addition, some countries impose stiff prison terms for the importation of illegal firearms.
