- Location - North east of Trinidad, its sister isle, about 7 miles from Venezuela, and 11 degrees above the equator.
- Size - Approximately 116 square miles.
- Population - Last estimated at 45,000.
- Language - English
- Climate - Tropical. Dry Season: January to June. Rainy Season: July to December.
- Currency/exchange - TT$ or US$. TT dollar floats. US $1.00 = approx. TT $6.15.
- Transportation - A car is put at the disposal of guests to Capri Isle. However, there are chauffeured taxis, tour guides (car or mini bus), and several rental establishments providing cars, jeeps and bicycles.

In fact, Trinidad and Tobago has the highest number of different species of birds per square mile in the world (source: Asa Wright Nature Centre), all of which are easily accessible as the islands are small.

Another gentle giant, the Leatherback returns to Tobago every year to lay her eggs. No one knows why leatherbacks "cry" when they are in labour.
