The Mango Inn was built with the atmosphere and feeling of the Caribbean in mind. We constructed the hotel entirely from wood with large airy rooms and huge porches, where guests can swing in hammocks and watch the day go by. The hotel is set in a classic Caribbean garden with coconut, canup, breadfruit, craboo, banana, lime and of course mango trees all about. Take a look around the site and then come and join us in the Mango Garden!
Built in 1997,the beautiful Mango Inn hotel provides visitors to Utila with an ideal environment to relax in and enjoy the island. The atmosphere and feeling of the Caribbean was very much in the minds of the designers and landscapers. Situated at the center of the village within easy walking distance of all the amenities of the island, the Mango Inn is nestled in beautiful gardens, creating a perfect tropical paradise. The complex is made entirely of Honduran pine with large airy rooms and big porches, where guests can swing in hammocks and relax at a true Caribbean pace.
The Mango Inn quickly gained a reputation as one of the best hotels in the region. Our staff and management guarantee that you get the standard of service that you require and try to make everybody as comfortable and satisfied as possible. Our gardens are renowned for their beauty and pleasant atmosphere where making friends just comes naturally.
As a policy of the hotel we try to satisfy the needs of all our visitors, so whether you are looking for a dive filled holiday or just a luxurious vacation, The Mango Inn can cater for all.
Amenities:
We have four types of accommodation; the most requested are our Deluxe cabins,with huge spacious rooms and furnished with 2 queen size beds. These cabins are raised above the gardens and over look our three tiered swimming pool . The air conditioning, cable TV, hot water, minibar, huge bathrooms and a private porch makes these cabins perfect for our customers seeking surroundings of the highest quality. Our standard cabins also boast the same amenities and are located at ground level in the tropical gardens of the hotel. These cabins are ideal for relaxing after a day of diving in Utila or other non-diving activities on the island. Our standard and deluxe rooms are located in the main building and they provide salient comfort with double or single beds, A/C, private hot water bathrooms and a big communal porch where you can swing your hammock and watch the day go by. You can even get accommodation at a discount rate if you take a course at our dive center- The Utila Dive Centre.
