Bolongo Bay Beach Club
All rooms have are beachfront, with king or double beds, air-conditioned, cable-TV, refrigerator and most rooms have a kitchenette. We have two restaurants, nightly entertainment, pool with swim-up bar, complete water-sports center, our own 53-foot catamaran Heavenly Days, and tennis, beach volleyball and basketball courts.

The hotel business is our life, so when you check into Bolongo Bay, you check into our home. Your total vacation experience is what matter to us. We've grown over the years, but our concept today is just the same as it was back when we scrambled the eggs and poured the coffee ourselves - we try to treat our guests the way we like being treated when we're on vacation.
That means not being nickel-and-dimed. That means getting a complete vacation for the price of a room. That means going home not only with tee shirts and a tan, but with a warm memory of new friendships and a satisfied feeling of good value. We have 65 beachfront hotel rooms and we also manage 15 waterfront condominiums located just down the beach, perfect for families or friends traveling together.
Although we are a small hotel, we offer as many amenities as many of the larger more deluxe hotels. We have 2 open air restaurants, entertainment, a full water sports center, scuba diving, a fitness center, two tennis courts, two pro-beach volleyball courts and two half basketball courts, a Karaoke sports lounge and our own 53' catamaran, The Heavenly Days.
We know how many brochures you've seen and how hard it is to decide where to go or in which resort to stay. We also know how important this vacation is to you, so the best we can do to assist you in making your decision is to inform you what Bolongo is, and what it is not... If you are looking for a small, fun, casual, laid-back, beachfront hotel with an island flair, lots of activities, a staff who really cares, and great atmosphere, Bolongo Bay is the place for you. At Bolongo we like to be more personal. We all have first names, and we like to know yours. We are always around, but to make sure we meet all our guests and that they meet us we have a Manager's cocktail party around the pool every Tuesday. Bolongo Bay will definitely leave you with a feel of the Caribbean. "Home was never like this!"
It is "The Caribbean the way it used to be." Our rooms are just steps away from the beach, all with a balcony with a beautiful view of the Caribbean sea. We are not a deluxe property and our rooms are not fancy, but they are very clean, comfortable, and have every amenity you need, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, room safe, kitchenette, A/C, ceiling fans, cable TV, and phone.
Our restaurants are both open air, choose between dining around the pool by candle light and Tiki torches, or in one of the gazebos overlooking the pool & ocean at The Beach House or take a stroll down the beach to Iggie's Beach Bar & Restaurant. We have entertainment featuring steel bands and calypsonians at the Beach House, and karaoke, live music and many special events at Iggie's.
Everywhere you go the ocean is right there in sight. At lunch time the Iguanas come around the pool to greet our guests, hoping that someone will feed them a Hibiscus flower, or a cherry.
Most Wednesday nights we have our famous "Carnival Night" at the Beach House with a West Indian buffet, a steel band, Mocko Jumbie (stilt dancer), and a show with fire eating and glass walking, and limbo show & contest, and lots of other fun & games.
Heavenly Days is our own 53' catamaran, that takes our guests on an All Day Sail and beach outing to beautiful Honeymoon Beach on the island of St. John, and a romantic Sunset Cocktail Cruise around historical Charlotte Amalie harbor. It is also available for private charters, and our Heavenly Days Fantasy Wedding package.
If you are a diver or just want to try it, St. Thomas Diving Club is right here on property. Everyone (must be 10 years old) gets a complimentary scuba lesson in the pool. After you finish the pool lesson you just jump on one of their dive boats and head on out to sea to one of the many great dive sites to discover the under water beauty of the Caribbean. Our famous Semi-Inclusive plan , includes a Continental Breakfast, unlimited use of sunfish sailboats, kayaks, windsurfers, aqua tricycles, swim mats, view boards, an introductory scuba lesson, membership to Bayside Fitness center, tennis, beach volleyball and basket ball courts. If you stay 7 nights or longer we also include an All day sail to the island of St. John for 2 people aboard our catamaran Heavenly Days (the name says it all).
For those of you who want more we have our All-Inclusive Plan which includes all above, and all your meals, all your drinks & all gratuities. As an All Inclusive guest at Bolongo, you order all your meals a la carte. There are no restrictions on our menu. Lobster is available every night. No buffets, except our Carnival night, which is a "must" anyway, but if you prefer not to, Iggies is open serving the regular menu. You can spend your entire vacation with us without ever seeing a buffet. Our bar policy is the same, no restrictions. You can order any type of drink, top shelf included, and wine by the glass. If you order from our wine list we give you a 20% discount towards the bottle of wine or champagne that you choose. If you stay 5 nights or longer you also get the All Day Sail to St. John, and a Sunset Cocktail Cruise to the historic harbor of beautiful Charlotte Amalie included.
Our Villa guests booking the European plan, still have complimentary use of snorkel equipment, an introductory scuba lesson, membership to Bayside Fitness center, tennis, beach volleyball and basketball courts included.

For Fun on the beach we have snorkeling, windsurfing, sunfish sailboats, aqua tricycles, kayaks, swim floats and view boards. The best part is that all the sports listed above are included in our Semi Inclusive & All Inclusive rates. We also have Wave Runners, Parasailing & Scuba diving available on property. Everyone staying with us, regardless of plan booked, get a complimentary introductory scuba lesson in our swimming pool, and use of snorkel equipment included. St Thomas Diving Club a 5 star Padi facility is located right here on the beach.
Heavenly Days, our 53-foot catamaran takes our guests on a beautiful All Day Sail Honeymoon Beach on St. John, and a romantic Sunset Cocktail Cruise around historical Charlotte Amalie harbor. Both trips are included for all our All Inclusive guests staying 5 nights or longer. The All Day Sail to St. John is included for all our Semi Inclusive guests staying 7 nights or longer (2 per room). Our Vacation Director will also help make arrangements for you for other Tours or for Golf at beautiful Mahogany Run golf course.

At Bolongo we have a complete Fitness Center, we have two tennis courts, two half basketball courts and two lighted pro beach volleyball courts.
Massage Therapy is available by appointment through Bayside Fitness Center.
Amenities:
Bolongo Bay,
a true beachfront Caribbean resort, is located on a 1000-foot beach. All 65 rooms are located steps away from the beach, and have a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea. Every Bolongo room is fully equipped with cable TV, A/C, telephone, hair dryer, iron & ironing boards and room safe; and all rooms have balconies that face the water. As an added bonus, all our rooms have a refrigerator and most rooms have an efficiency kitchenette.
Bolongo Villas,
located just down the beach are perfect for families or friends traveling together looking for larger accommodations. We manage Studios, One and Two bedroom condominiums. All our Condominiums have a gorgeous ocean view and full kitchens.
Bolongo's Bayside Inn,
is located just across the street from Bolongo Bay Beach Club. All Five Bayside Inn rooms are air conditioned, with private bath and telephone. Perfect if you are looking for guest house accommodations, but still want to have access to resort facilities. It is the only place where you can have both. The best deal around, Very limited availability.
Bolongo's Inn at Villa Olga,
The Bolongo Inn at Villa Olga is an in-town hotel with an out-of-town feeling". It is located on a historic landmark site where it is set amidst lush landscaping on a hill overlooking the tip of Frenchtown, the island’s most popular restaurant district. This property, has been owned by our family for the last 25 years but has been leased out for the past 15 years, but is now managed by us again.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is the best way to protect yourself against financial loss. The most useful plan is a comprehensive policy that includes coverage for trip cancellation and interruption, default, trip delay, and medical expenses (with a waiver for preexisting conditions).
Without insurance, you will lose all or most of your money if you cancel your trip or have to cut it short, regardless of the reason. Default insurance covers you if your tour operator, airline, or cruise line goes out of business. Trip-delay covers unforeseen expenses that you may incur due to bad weather or mechanical delays. Residents of the United Kingdom can buy an annual travel-insurance policy valid for most vacations taken during the year in which the coverage is purchased.

Always buy travel insurance directly from an insurance company or agent; if you buy it from a cruise line, airline, or tour operator that goes out of business, you probably will not be covered for the agency or operator's default, a major risk. Before you make any purchase, review your existing health and home-owner's policies to find out whether they cover expenses incurred while traveling.
