Tree Tops was built in 1987 and designed specifically for vacation rental, providing all you'll need for a great vacation, without the crowds. There are two units, each furnished comfortably with elegance. Each 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath, with unique garden showers, open lattice and rock walls. There is a modern kitchen and a living/dining room area that is surrounded by spacious covered deck, picturesque in every direction.
Beach Tops consists of two levels. Each of the 3 Bedrooms have their own lovely balcony and view. The 3 baths are carefully done in unique shell stone.

What sets Nightwind apart from the rest? You'll know the moment you meet your hosts Steve & June Marsh. Their personalized service has made their reputation outstanding! Steve holds a BA degree from Rutgers University and June is a graduate of the Newark School of Fine Industrial Arts. Since arriving in St. Thomas in 1977, they have been entertaining charter guests on their home, and yacht, Nightwind. An oceangoing 50 foot yawl, Nightwind was custom built in Sweden in 1956 and sailed across the Atlantic. Steve rebuilt her to fit our needs as well as that of their guests. There are changing facilities, and a rest room aboard. Her 28 ton displacement with 8 tons of ballast makes her UNCAPSIZABLE, and assures smooth sailing and stability. With 1400 square feet of Canvas divided among four sails, we can put up the right combination for comfort, safety and yet exhilarating sailing. Make Your Reservations Early!
Join us at Sapphire Beach Marina, 9 a.m. where you start your day off with light breakfast aboard. Your day includes everything: open bar, champagne buffet lunch, snorkel gear and instruction. For your added comfort, Nightwind has swim floats, deck and cockpit cushions, shade awning, and of course a tender for taking guests ashore. All you need to bring is a towel, bathing suit, sun lotion, and your camera.
The Virgin Islands offer the best sailing in the world! Nightwind offers a comfortable day aboard a spacious yacht, sailing in the protected waters of Pillsbury Sound. Dotted with many islands called cays (pronounced "Keys") you will take in the picturesque U.S. and British Virgin Islands. As we sail along we like to share with our guests the history, tales and points of interest in the islands.
We set anchor in a quiet cove where there will be plenty of time to snorkel, swim or just relax under the shade awning. Even if you are a non-swimmer or 1st time snorkeler, you'll find snorkeling quite easy with our swim floats and large rafts. We have introduced thousands of newcomers to the beauty of our reefs along with colorful fish and coral. It's always rewarding to have a guest come back and say, "That was unbelievably beautiful. I never thought I'd be able to do it!" We even have a glass bottom viewing bucket.
After feasting on our "Champagne-Buffet Lunch" and a performance by our dog show, we will make a second stop for more snorkeling, beach combing, or napping under the shade awning. Then a smooth leisurely sail back sipping a tropical drink. We will arrive back at the dock about 4 p.m. We know you'll agree with our many past customers who say, "Our day aboard the Nightwind was the highlight of our Vacation!" Jungle & Rainforest Treking
If you plan to walk into the jungle make sure you know what you are doing. Carry a GPS and know how to use it. A compass will help the experienced explorer but if you just bought it and expect to enter the jungle and knock about then you may find yourself in deep trouble.
If you have to venture into the bush then please follow these instructions:
- Tell somebody where you are going.
- Bring lots of water.
- Make sure your compass works.
- Mark your trail.
- Be visually aware and remember landmarks.
- Check to see where the sun is when you enter the bush then check your watch to see what time it is, make regular checks to orient yourself to the movement of the sun.
