Rooms With a View
Just down the illuminated walk from the club house and pool, lie our rooms. All are air-conditioned with a breathtaking view of the Exuma Sound.
The evenings bring mild trade winds and by opening the glass patio door, you will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the surf.
Each room is appointed with either one king or two queen size beds, Henry Link wicker furniture, top quality bedding, comforters, and pillows, full bath, hairdryer, and terry bath robes.
Just off your private patio are perfectly placed hammocks underneath swaying palms which will enhance relaxation and foster your reconnection with nature.

Hawk’s Nest is the perfect place to relax and a great place to play.
Swim laps or lounge in our inviting fresh-water pool or sunbathe on a handsome wrap around deck just steps from the restaurant and bar.
Play basketball and tennis — equipment is complimentary.
Watch the sunset on any one of three private beaches that dot the property.
Meander down Hawk’s Nest Creek in a complimentary kayak to a secluded beach for a picnic lunch and shell hunting.
Visit historical settlements and secluded beaches with our jeep rentals. Explore the grounds on complimentary bicycles. Golf carts can be rented for a daily charge. Charter the resort’s boats for deep sea and bonefishing. Sun, swim, snorkel, scuba dive or just daydream in one of our oceanside hammocks.
Dive Cat Island
Dive Cat Island offers divers at all skill levels a multitude of underwater experiences. See hundreds of coral heads and reefs all just a stones throw away from the shore. We dive the south coast of Cat Island, where the spectacular drop-off is only minutes away from our marina. The Atlantic shelf is awe inspiring with its incredible coral growth, schools of tropical and pelagic fish and 150' visibility. The wall with its numerous swim-throughs, tunnels, canyons, caves and gulleys follows the southern coast for 12 miles, so there is still plenty of opportunities to discover places never dived before.
Dive Shop
The dive center was newly constructed in 2000. Comfortable chairs, air-conditioning, video and PADI course materials in a bright environment at the waters edge makes theory work a joy. The scuba center lies just feet away from the boat in our 28 slip marina. The shop is loaded with new Sherwood equipment and Mares fins for rentals. In our retail area you'll find a full selection of masks and Fish-ID-books. For quality assurance and safety we check our air fillings every three months.
