More Info: Villa de Palmas is situated on a hilltop surrounded by palms and tropical flowers. Every room affords a magnificent panoramic view of the azure sea.
Nearby Attractions: Access to a very private beach is less than 200 ft. from the loggia as you pass the outdoor shower on the palm lined sand path. Immerse yourself in the warm crystal clear tropical waters, stroll the fine pink sand beaches, or relax in the shade of the coconut palms or casuarinas as you listen to the breeze wisp by.
Amenities: The kitchen boasts top of the line appliances including a glass top gas stove, separate oven, microwave, side by side refrigerator with water and ice in the door, corian countertops, dishwasher, a water filtration system on both the sink and refrigerator and island with a wet bar. The laundry room includes a washer, dryer and tub.
The air conditioned mastersuite at one end is separated from the main house by the saltilo tiled screened tropical breezeway and has a private terrace. At the opposite end of the villa is another air conditioned mastersuite that opens directly on to the loggia.
The expansive octagonal shaped greatroom has 20 ft. ceilings and opens onto the 600 sq. ft. saltilo tiled loggia which wraps around the front of the villa. Other amenities include SAT/TV,VCR, CD/cassette stereo , a VHS cassette library or read a book from the small library.
The panoramic view from the loggia is inspirational whether you are viewing the sunrise or the ever changing colors of the sea, as the days quickly slip by.

Caribbean Travel Tip Safety Tips Crime Information. Most visitors to the Caribbean have a relatively safe trip. However, thievery, purse snatching, and pick pocketing do happen, particularly in cities and at beaches. There has also been an increase in violent crimes, such as rape and assault against tourists. In some places, U.S. passports and identity documents are especially attractive to thieves. Robbery of yachts is a problem in some marinas.
Here are some precautions to keep in mind:
-- Safety begins when you pack. Leave expensive jewelry, unnecessary credit cards, and anything you would hate to lose at home.
-- Use a concealed money pouch or belt for passports, cash, and other valuables.
-- To facilitate replacing a lost or stolen passport, carry two extra passport photos and a photocopy of your passport information page and other identity documents with you in a separate place from those items.
-- Do not take valuables to the beach. When possible, use the hotel safe when you go to the beach or into town.
-- When you enter a marina, register with the local government authorities.
