The Princess Heights Condominiums are situated just steps away from Dawn Beach. Only one of St. Maarten's 37 beaches, Dawn Beach is known for its splendid snorkeling and body surfing waves.
Minutes away on the French side, lie the glistening waters of Orient Beach. A clothing optional beach, this is arguably one of the island's most beautiful beaches. Its protected waters make this an ideal location for windsurfing, sailing, and jetskiing. Beachside bars, restaurants, and kiosks offer a lot of activity, making this a popular spot for residents and tourists alike.
Just a few minutes off-shore is Pinel Island, which is a must-see destination in itself. A ferry boat runs between shores every half-hour to this tiny islet. Just around the corner is the Oyster Pond marina.
The French St. Martin capital city of Marigot was the site of the filming of the action film SPEED 2, starring Sandra Bullock. An entire replica of a quaint Caribbean town was built over part of the existing market.
