Lazy Days is a beautifully furnished fully air-conditioned 2
bedroom, 2 bath luxury vacation rental right on the water offering all of the amenities of home. Every room has a beautiful view of the water. It sits 50' from clear, turquoise waters of the Sea of Abaco, surrounded by tropical blooming gardens. Lazy Days is the perfect place to escape, unwind, relax and enjoy stunning views of the sea, gorgeous sunsets, your own private 60' dock and over 300 sq.ft. of open sun deck areas.
Lubbers Quarters is a beautiful private cay right in the middle of the sea of Abaco. With well-spaced homes, it is uncrowded & serene. Historic Hope Town & Marsh Harbour are 15 minutes or less by boat, with more beaches, restaurants and shopping, or walk to Cracker P's beach bar where Chef Patrick will grill a fantastic dinner for you and you can stroll home in the moonlight. World-class snorkeling, diving, fishing are just a few minutes away. Perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, relaxing executives or two couples traveling together.
Sit on one of the decks & do nothing but communicate with nature. There is no pressure. Do all or nothing at all. Get to know the warm, friendly people of the out-islands. You'll fall in love and return over and over again.

Protected by the outer cays, the Sea of Abaco shelters a lovely variety of coral gardens. Very interesting snorkeling, even for beginners, can be done right along the shore in front of Lazy Days. Sandy Cay Land & Sea Park is a 2100 acre preserve located a short boat ride south & offers perhaps the best snorkeling & scuba diving in all of the Abacos. You can bring your own equipment or purchase the basics. There are several professional dive and snorkel tour operators that will ensure you have a fantastic time. Our guests recommend Froggies Out Island Adventures in Hope Town. They specialize in all-day island excursions to Abaco’s underwater national parks in their specially equipped dive boats. They also offer: air fills, equipment rentals, resort courses and P.A.D.I. certifications.
There are numerous white sand beaches, some remote & clothing optional, others near reefs & restaurants, or walk to beaches minutes from your house.
The fishing is excellent -- catch dolphin, wahoo, tuna, grouper, snappers, hogfish, jacks, runners, porgies, grunts or dive for conch or lobster in season. We are just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean or bone fishing in the flats. Reliable local guides are available if you desire.
Bone fishing is considered by some experts to be the fastest game fish and they are alive and well in the waters surrounding Abaco. You can walk to the flats from Lazy Days or you can hire any number of local bone fishermen to take you to their secret fishing grounds.
Amenities:
Lazy Days is an architect designed waterfront house, beautifully furnished with Lloyd Flanders wicker with tropical colors, gleaming hard wood floors, gorgeous island-style pickled wood walls and fully air-conditioned. It is designed to take advantage of the magnificent views of the sea and catch the cool breezes with ceiling fans throughout.
The spacious living room, dining room, kitchen combination has a cathedral ceiling and a wet bar with icemaker. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator & full sized gas range, French press coffee maker & electric grinder (so bring your own gourmet beans). There is a telephone & VHF radio, satellite TV and VCR, a stereo system, radio, cassette and CD player so bring music & your favorite videos if you wish. A spacious 30' screened porch over-looking the sea provides lounging and another dining area. Another screened porch on the back of the house overlooks the blooming gardens.
Designed to accommodate two couples, Lazy Days has 2 master suites, each with a queen bed & full bath. One bedroom suite is located in the main house with a large walk-in closet & spacious screeneed porch overlooking the Sea. The second suite adjoins the main house via a large deck with gas grill, assuring privacy for both couples. All bed linens, towels and blankets are supplied except beach towels.

Jungle & Rainforest Treking
If you plan to walk into the jungle make sure you know what you are doing. Carry a GPS and know how to use it. A compass will help the experienced explorer but if you just bought it and expect to enter the jungle and knock about then you may find yourself in deep trouble.
If you have to venture into the bush then please follow these instructions:
- Tell somebody where you are going.
- Bring lots of water.
- Make sure your compass works.
- Mark your trail.
- Be visually aware and remember landmarks.
- Check to see where the sun is when you enter the bush then check your watch to see what time it is, make regular checks to orient yourself to the movement of the sun.
