More Info:
Completed in February 2001, Lavenda Breeze is unique. It is the only luxury beachfront villa on the northern coast of Anegada in the British Virgin Islands.

Anegada, though the second largest of the British Virgin Islands in area, has a very small population of only 180 residents. It differs, too, from the other islands in that it is the only coral atoll in the BVI (the others are volcanic) with a maximum elevation of only 26 feet above sea level. It's a quiet place with a fascinating history of shipwrecks on the reefs near its shores, plus interesting fauna such as sea turtles, pelicans, the endangered Anegada iguana, flamingoes, Anegada lobsters and more --- and flora such as cactus, wild orchids, palms, sea grapes, loblolly trees, and bay lavenda all along the shore.

For years, Anegada has been a favorite destination for yachtsmen, sought out for its dreamy quiet seclusion and for its miles upon miles of empty, pure white sand beaches. It continues to be a beach-lover's paradise.

Loblolly Bay is the most prized beach on Anegada for swimming and snorkeling. About 1½ miles long along tts gentle arc, Loblolly hosts two small beach bars, one at either end: "Big Bamboo" and "Flash of Beauty". In the center of the arc is Lavenda Breeze.

Since Lavenda Breeze is situated right on the beach, you will walk out your door to the best swimming and snorkeling in the BVI. Or you can sit on the covered deck and relax or read, always protected from the tropical sun, while you watch the waves break on the reef. At night watch an occasional cruise ship or tanker pass by silently on the horizon.

The 360 degree deck affords a view for miles without any other houses in sight. It is truly a feeling of being on "the edge of the earth," "out of this world," in paradise!

Nearby Attractions:
Swimming, snorkeling, bicycling, beach-combing, sea-kayaking, flamingo-watching, bonefishing, sailing, deep-sea fishing, hiking, shopping, eco-tourism.

Amenities:
Fully-equipped kitchen with microwave, full refrigerator, blender, ice cream maker, toaster, dishwasher, coffemaker, etc. Ceiling fans. Two TV's with satellite. VCR/DVDs, CD-player, tape-player, radio, books, games, movies, CDs. Washer/dryer. Full luxury.

Caribbean Travel Tip

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is the best way to protect yourself against financial loss. The most useful plan is a comprehensive policy that includes coverage for trip cancellation and interruption, default, trip delay, and medical expenses (with a waiver for preexisting conditions). Without insurance, you will lose all or most of your money if you cancel your trip or have to cut it short, regardless of the reason. Default insurance covers you if your tour operator, airline, or cruise line goes out of business. Trip-delay covers unforeseen expenses that you may incur due to bad weather or mechanical delays. Study the fine print when comparing policies. For overseas travel, one of the most important components of travel insurance is its medical coverage. Supplemental health insurance will pick up the cost of your medical bills should you get sick or injured while traveling. U.S. residents should note that Medicare generally does not cover health-care costs outside the United States, nor do many privately issued policies. Residents of the United Kingdom can buy an annual travel-insurance policy valid for most vacations taken during the year in which the coverage is purchased. If you are pregnant or have a pre-existing condition, make sure you're covered. Always buy travel insurance directly from an insurance company or agent; if you buy it from a cruise line, airline, or tour operator that goes out of business, you probably will not be covered for the agency or operator's default, a major risk. Before you make any purchase, review your existing health and home-owner's policies to find out whether they cover expenses incurred while traveling.
