Soulshine Resort & Spa is a small intimate resort. We are the only resort in the village of Placencia, Belize with the uniqueness of the ability to be located on a private island yet after crossing a small inlet from the ocean be a five minute walk to the laid back village of Placencia. Also, being situated at the very point of Placencia relax by the the only swimming pool in the village and enjoy the breath taking view of the sun setting over the Caribbean sea and the bordering Mayan Mountain Range.

Our spacious authentic thatched cabanas are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, fresh water, full bath, air conditioning, various configuration of bedding and a relaxing front porch to sit and watch the world go by.
Sit in one of our European spa tubs and watch the sunset over the ocean or enjoy a wonderful massage, facial, nails, wrap and more out by the ocean in our wonderful thatched roof, Mexican tiled spa room. Our spa technician is internationally trained and experienced in herbs, arometherapy and Thai massage along with an array of experience. Start your day off with Yoga on the beach!

Our restaurant and bar offer a light fare menu during the day and a full course menu in the evening. Meals range from local dishes and seafood to specialty vegetarian. Sip a wonderful glass of wine, or quench your thirst with a icy margarita or fruity Pina Colada.
We offer a beautiful, private beach area with a wonderful view of the Caribbean sea and the southern coast of Belize. Our fresh water swimming pool is serviced by the sunset bar and grill through out the day .

Jungle & Rainforest Treking
If you plan to walk into the jungle make sure you know what you are doing. Carry a GPS and know how to use it. A compass will help the experienced explorer but if you just bought it and expect to enter the jungle and knock about then you may find yourself in deep trouble.
If you have to venture into the bush then please follow these instructions:
- Tell somebody where you are going.
- Bring lots of water.
- Make sure your compass works.
- Mark your trail.
- Be visually aware and remember landmarks.
- Check to see where the sun is when you enter the bush then check your watch to see what time it is, make regular checks to orient yourself to the movement of the sun.
